Confirmation

The confirmation policy will ask the owners of a resource to confirm that the resource is still in use after a given number of days. Owners will be asked to confirm that the resource is still in use by clicking on a link.

You can enable the Allow users to select a future date option to let users specify an exact expiration date in a date field instead of using a predefined interval in days. This selected date will determine when the confirmation policy is triggered.

Additionally, you can configure Absolute Expiration (Days), which defines the maximum future date a user is allowed to choose. The expiration date is always calculated relative to the resource creation date.

Specify how many reminders should be sent and what should happen if owners do not take any action in the specified time frame.

If owners do not take any action, a resource can be deleted. The Archive option applies to Teams only.
