Dashboard

The Dashboard provides an overview of expiring credentials (certificates and secrets) for app registrations and enterprise applications in Entra ID. It enables administrators to proactively monitor and renew credentials before they expire to prevent service disruptions.

Key Metrics

At the top of the dashboard, four key metrics provide an instant overview of credential status:

  • Total app registrations: Number of app registrations registered within your organization. Clicking on this item redirects you to the list of all app registrations.
  • Total enterprise applications: Number of enterprise applications registered within your organization. Clicking on this item redirects you to the list of all enterprise applications.
  • # credentials about to expire: Number of credentials set to expire within the expiration threshold. A click on this item scrolls the page until the Expiring credentials section.
  • # expired credentials: Number of credentials that have already expired. A click on this item scrolls the page until the Expired credentials section.

This section displays a bar chart showing the number of credentials expiring in upcoming months. This helps identify peak expiration periods so that users can foresee the amount of work that is expected in the near future.

Expiring credentials

A table listing credentials that will expire within the next 30 days. If no credentials have expired, the message "No items found" is displayed.

The table includes:

Credential IDA unique identifier for the credential.
ExpiringTime remaining before expiration (e.g., "in 9 hours", "in 1 week").

Credentials are sorted by expiration date, with the most urgent expirations appearing first. Moreover, a warning icon ⚠️ highlights credentials that are about to expire.

Expired Credentials

This section is analogous, but lists credentials that have already expired. If no credentials have expired, the message "No items found" is displayed.
